Machine Gun Unicorn has to rank number one for the most random name I’ve ever seen for a slot game, online or offline. You have to give the software developer, Genesis Gaming, props just for having the guts to slap on such an obscure title. Naturally you might be wondering what the theme of Machine Gun Unicorn is?
At first glance, the promo photo is literally a picture of a unicorn with a machine gun replacing the unicorn horn. Let’s see if the slot game is as interesting as the title Machine Gun Unicorn with the tagline “The hero you didn’t know you always wanted.”

Honestly, one look at the promo trailer and I’m pretty sure the developers were high when they came up with it. The premise of the game is that zombies have taken over a unicorn fantasy land and the unicorns must save the day with their machine gun horns.
It’s different, and we like different. The fantasy land theme with a twist is a 5 reel and 10 payline slot developed in both Flash and HTML 5 for gameplay on both desktop and mobile devices via the Quickfire platform. There are stacked symbol substitutions, cute colored unicorns, zombie symbol bombs and a both ways pay format.
The wild symbol is the gold haired unicorn with the machine gun horn and it will appear on the third reel and substitute for all other symbols. Once it does, all the zombie heads get bombed.
