Swedish online gaming software supplier, Net Entertainment (NetEnt), posted a record revenue increase of 29 per cent to SEK 279.8m for the third quarter of 2015. Operating profits for the quarter in the three months up until September 30th grew to an impressive 43.5% to SEK 105.2 million while operating margins increased 37.6% compared to 33.8% in the same period the previous year. Profit after tax reached SEK 97.6 million.
NetEnt’s CEO, Per Eriksson, commented on the companies success in the third quarter stating that the increase was solidified from seven new licensee agreements and solid underlying growth from existing clientele. He specifically mentioned the US contracts stating, “We reached a historic milestone as our games became available on the regulated market in New Jersey, USA, for the first time.
“A key part of our growth strategy is to enter new regulated markets and during the quarter our market entry in the US state of New Jersey continued at full speed.”
Adding further, Eriksson spoke of their new game releases, “We keep producing at least one new title a month for all our customers, while we also develop customized games at a growing pace.” The company have also kept focus on their mobile games offering and expanding strategic partnerships.
NetEnt just released their Pyramid: Quest for Immortality Egyptian themed slot with 720 ways to win and an Avalanche feature. Their much anticipated Guns N’ Roses slot game is due to be released in January 2016.
