Lafayette, Tennessee claims the sale of the state’s second largest lottery jackpot ever worth $420.9 Million. The winner has not yet come forward, but the ticket with the winning numbers: 17-19-21-37-44, and Powerball 16 will need to be signed by the winner who must then come forward within 180 days.
Currently there are 44 states where residents can play the Powerball. The largest ever powerball jackpot was claimed in January 2016. $1.6 billion Powerball was split three ways.
This $420.9 Million jackpot in Tennessee marks the 12th largest in US history.
Though the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are one in 292.2 million, dreams do come true as they most certainly will do for the Tennessee winner when he/she claims the winning ticket!
