With a full year now to report on, Swedish online gambling software provider NetEnt have made official the news that those in the industry could see happening firsthand- 2014 was a very good year. Indeed the percentage improvements year on year are the kinds of numbers humble CFO’s can only dream of achieving!
Overall operating revenue reached SEK851.7 million (€89.8 million/$101.8 million), representing a fairly staggering year-on-year increase of 35% on the SEK630.7 million of 2013. Even more impressive, NetEnt managed to bolster a greater percentage in operating profit of up to 44.5% Y-O-Y. Profit after Tax tops out at SEK243.2 million, up from SEK167.1 million in 2013.
After such an impressive set of numbers, NetEnt CEO Per Eriksson was quick to point out the success derived from the rapid growth of their customer base; “New customers and favourable currency changes contributed positively, but the main driver of the increase in revenues and earnings was solid underlying growth among our customers,” he said. Naturally pleased with the figures he also added, “Revenue growth for the full year, even adjusted for currency changes, is the highest ever for the company, with a continuing strong operating margin” and further “I am convinced that NetEnt’s focus on developing world-class entertaining and thrilling games makes us well positioned to keep growing on existing and new markets.”
As NetEnt goes from strength to strength, who would bet against 2015 being even better!
