InterCasino unveils a rebrand with new website launch

InterCasino has launched a brand new website and it’s definitely state of the art. Intertain Group purchased InterCasino back in February last year and NYX Gaming Group Limited supplies the platform for both InterCasino and InterPoker. The website launch is part of a InterCasino rebrand ahead of major television and online advertising initiatives.

The first objective was to bring back the InterCasino crown logo which loyal customers will be familiar with, hence instilling trust in a recognized brand. The layout and navigation is also very user friendly. They’ve done focus groups with thousands of affiliates and customers to get it right. You have large header banners at the front left on a slider with blocked content below. The blocked content below is what is customizable.

This is the first we’ve seen of it in the industry but you can actually pick and choose what games you want to go in that content area when you pull up the InterCasino homepage. If slots are your casino game of choice, you can choose to add specific slot games from the 164 titles available. By selecting blackjack, 21 blackjack games will be made available so you can easily see which ones you want to play. The top navigation buttons are also very user friendly and you will find that everything is designed so that game play is just one click away. To the right of the page, a list of recent winners keeps players excited about what kind of wins could be in store for them.

Peter Marcus, Intertain’s Chief Marketing Officer who returned to the company last year after leaving in 2008 states, “What we’ve tried to develop is a modern day front for a casino which includes everything on one page and is only one click away, something the top ecommerce companies do very well.”

The rebranding of the website precedes the company’s plan to embark on a new television advertising campaign as well as plans to increase online marketing spend.

Speaking on behalf of platform provider NYX Gaming Group Limited, David Flynn EVP of Business Development, states “The latest functionality greatly improves the flexibility and responsiveness of our front end. Delivering a dynamic CMS, tailored in real time to each players habits and preferences with player specific bonusing helps to create a personalised casino experience thus aiding acquisition and retention of players,” he added.

Intertain Group has been on a merger and acquisition spree in an effort to cover all online gaming verticals in their offering. After acquiring both InterCasino and WagerLogic last year, they also acquired the likes of Mandalay Media for £60m to complete their bingo foothold in the UK market. Most recently, they acquired Vera and John Casino for €89.1m. The company is looking to make further online gaming M&A’s in 2015.
