MX Social Casino App Launches on Facebook

The American games developer MX Digital has officially announced the launch of their brand MX Casino. Launched in partnership with marketing and analytics specialist Traffic Generation (TraffGen), the casino will operate through a free-to-play Facebook app and initially will feature the companies line up of cult hero celebrity inspired slots.

Current titles in the MX game suite include Hulkmania, based on the wrestler Hulk Hogan, Dennis Rodman’s Rad Slam, and David Hasselhoff’s, The Hoff. Hotly tipped to be the biggest title in the catalog though, is the most recent launch of the Blues Brothers, themed on the classic early 80’s film of the same name starring Dan Ackroyd and John Belushi.

Speaking of the colabaration MX Digital co-founder Eric Bischoff said: “We have been looking for the right strategy, and the right partner to expand into the social gaming sector for some time. We have great brands with partners who have passionate social media fan bases and who are anxious to promote these games with us.”

Analytics specialist firm TraffGen have recently significantly widened their US presence and have operations based in Las Vegas and Chicago. Referring to the partnership MX Digital Co-founder Ike McFadden said: “TraffGen is a perfect partner. They offer a variety of marketing and technology services to their clients in social, online waged, and land-based casino industries.”

In turn TraffGen CEO Andy Caras-Altas was equally enthusiastic about the collaboration: “When we entered into our partnership with MX Digital, we were very excited about their plan to leverage the large social media following associated with their library of brands: to provide fans worldwide with the ultimate social casino of slot machines. We believe that high-profile brands, such as those in the MX stable, have a natural fit with the social casino market as players increasingly look to engage with trusted brands in what is an ever-congested market. TraffGen’s marketing & player development tool kit will help power MX’s move into the social space.”

The move will see MX Digital enter the market segment already populated by the likes of Caesars Interactive Entertainment, Inc., IGT’s Double Down Casino, MGM-backed Play Studios, Zynga, Wynn Interactive, Foxwoods Interactive and Foxwoods Development Company competing for social gaming prominence.
