The correct numbers were hit in last night’s drawings for the largest Mega Millions jackpot in US history by a single ticket winner from South Carolina. The luckiest of all lucky numbers were: 5, 28, 62, 65 and 70, with a Mega Ball of 5.
The winning ticket was sold at a KC Mart convenience store in Simpsonville. The winner is not yet known as they have 180 days to come forward with the winning ticket. South Carolina is also a State that doesn’t have to make lottery winner’s names public record.
The $1.537 billion jackpot can either be paid in annuities over 29 years or paid in cash to the tune of $878 Million before taxes.
